You know… like how to actually achieve real success with all of this stuff.  How to make money and creating a sustainable, high income business.  Obviously, not everyone is going to achieve millionaire status like Royle… but some will.  And everyone has access to the same resources.

You have access to all of the same resources!

So let’s take a look at what you see demonstrated in the video above:

1. The Eyes Follow The Thumb Test… a fun and convincing way to demonstrate hypnotic power, enabling you to conduct a rapid induction.
2. The 8 Word Induction…. a super fast way to ‘shock’ someone into trance state.  By overloading the mind we can confuse it, thus giving it no where to go but ‘down’ into the sleep state that you command.
3. A VERY interesting fall back induction that leaves these students dazed!  …even an example of what happens if someone resists!

Even thought the sound on these videos is distant, take the time to really tune in and pretend that you’re there, learning LIVE.  What questions would you ask?  What else would you want to see?  Post your thoughts below.

All of these demonstrations do require that you know what to say and how to act.  You should get proper training before going out and performing hypnosis for the public.  That being said…

What is it that you need to do in order to take your hypnosis to the next level?

What’s the next level?  For some people it’s doing your first hypnosis demonstration.  For others it’s booking their first paid performance or session.  And for others it may be increasing their sales and income to hit their goals this year!

Look, it doesn’t matter where you’re at now.  You just have to keep learning and let the road take you where you want to go.  Notice I said ‘where YOU want to go.’  Set a few goals for this week, month and for the summer.  Stay on track to getting what it is that you want the most out of your hypnosis.

2. How easy it is to perform.  If you can talk, and touch people on the hands, then you can do this.  You just have to learn the workings behind it all, memorize a few key concepts, and PRACTICE!
3. How powerful it is learning in a LIVE environment like these students.  They get to hear, see and FEEL what it’s like to be hypnotized in a direct learning environment.

What I learned from HTG LIVE in Las Vegas:

YES, I too learn a ton of great stuff when I’m at HTG LIVE, and even though I spend most of the week training and running around making sure everything works behind the scenes, I still have the wonderful opportunity to sit back and learn from the other trainers and students as well.  Looking over my notes, and the fun memories of yet another successful HTG LIVE, I would like to share with you some key points that every hypnotists should know.

1. Be Focused.  It’s nice to know that when we train for Stage Hypnosis, the there is a common interest in mind, and that is to be able to ‘get paid to perform stage hypnosis shows.’  We went over a simple, show-in-box system, that makes it easy for anyone to hit the ground running with a great show that people and companies will pay top dollar for.  And the key here is to remember that, and stay focused on what it is you want.  Too many times I meet hypnotists that want to do it all, and they are flustered with thoughts about performing, hypnotherapy, magic, motivational speaking… enough is enough.  You gotta start with the right foundations when it comes to good business, and when it comes to a productive and successful lifestyle.  No matter what niche of hypnosis you’re going for, remember to stay clear and focused on what it is you want.  It will make your life so much easier, with less confusion.
2. Get Up and Do It!  I love how while most hypnotists are sitting around talking about hypnosis, you have the option to get up out of your chair and MOVE!  You can start practicing your introduction, induction, or routines and lines NOW.  It’s not difficult at all.  At HTG LIVE we give you a workbook that’s filled with things to practice, moving you closer to your ideal show.  It’s a template.  And it’s quite strong.  But there are tons of things out there that you can learn from.  Other live events and products.  Look, it doesn’t matter where you go to learn hypnosis.  The key is that you get off of your ass and you start applying the concepts.  The more you practice and put the lessons into practice, the better you’ll get, and the more you’ll learn about hypnosis and yourself.
3. Accept Your Fate.  Yeah, I know it sounds a bit strange to say that.  But let’s face it.  You’re not Matt Hale.  You’re not Joe Brogie or Amir Karkouti.  You most certainly will never be me.  But why would you want to be?  I can’t be you.  Did you know that each and every one of our students is fantastic and hypnotic in their own way?  It’s so true.  We all have our own characteristics and skills that make us unique.  And it’s SO FUNNY when I see hypnotists trying to sound like, act like, and be like their teachers.  It’s actually kind of weird.  Your fate is that you will be living the life that you will live.  You will perform the show that ONLY you will perform.  And when things go wrong along the road ahead you will learn lessons designed and intended for YOU to learn.  Your life is special, one-of-a-kind… simply amazing.  All you really have to do is Accept it.
4. Live a Life of Service.  If you really want your hypnosis business to skyrocket, whether it’s for Stage, Clinical, or both, learn to serve others in a way that exceeds anyone’s expectations.  When you book a free show, give them a $500 show!  When you book a $1200 show, perform a $2400 show, and stick around to meet some of the other guests that may want to ask you about your services!  Yes, you are in the service industry!  You serve party planners, event coordinators, and normal people just like you.  We are here to help each other and provide help where help is needed.  This goes for any business.  And when it’s time to deliver, you better damn well know that your clients are depending on you to ‘SMASH IT!’  You have the ability change people’s lives, whether on stage or in the clinical practice.  Serve others in a big way, and you’ll do very well in business, and in life.

Well, that’s all I have to share with you this time.  I hope we see you at the next training in Las Vegas, San Diego, or maybe even London or Sydney this year!   Who knows….  You may be too busy booking shows and if that’s your excuse, we’re all for it!

Here’s a breakdown of the Stage Hypnosis training coming up at the end of January!

HTG LIVE is Monday – Thursday, January 28-31, 2013.

We start Monday at 4PM-6PM with a kick off dinner!  This will be at T.G.I.Fridays inside the Gold Coast Hotel and will be a fun time to get to know each other, connect, and start out HTG LIVE with our new tradition!  You won’t want to skip this.   From there we’ll be working in the seminar room from 6:30-9PM going over The Stage Hypnosis blue print so you have a clear and concise model of the Hypnosis show.  Don’t be surprised if you find yourself on stage doing a few exercises, and shaking off those pre-show jitters.  But the end of the night you’ll closer than you’ve ever been to performing professionally as a Stage Hypnotist!  All workbooks and training tools will be provided for you.  So just show up ready to learn!

Tuesday Morning starts at 10AM… PERFORMANCE!  We’ll breaking down everything you need to know in order to perform a solid, power-packed show.  From the moment your foot hits the stage all the way to selling your products to people after the show, we’re going to give you what this live training is designed for!  Taking you through the system!  The Induction.  The Hypnotic Language required for stage.  Blocking and audience conditioning.  Crowd management and how to work with hypnotic subjects on stage.  It’s all here!  Wear something comfortable.  This will be the most active part of the week, and I expect you to want to your breaks!  Lunch is at 1-2 PM.We will also be answering all of your questions on the spot, building confidence in you, and conditioning you to the type of ‘thinking’ necessary to achieve success as a Stage Hypnotist.  Class ends at 6PM.  Expect to see an amazing Hypnosis Show on the Las Vegas strip Tuesday Night!  9PM-11PM.  This is completely optional… but no one ever misses it!

Wednesdays class works on the same time schedule.  10AM-6PM with a lunch break at 1PM.  This day will be all about Business.  Professionalism on and off stage.  Expect to discuss the issues of money, creating streams of income for your entertainment business, and how to attract high paying customers to you!  Learn about all types of venues, corporate events, high school parties, and more!  This will be a very fun day for many students that are interested in making Stage Hypnosis a career, and their main source of income.  Keep an open mind and prepare to let go of limiting beliefs!

Keep your night open.  I want you to meet one of the highly rated performers in Las Vegas!  We’ll meeting at The Mirage Hotel 6:30PM to see Magician and Mind Reader, Paul Vigil!  He has a brand new show that will completely entertain to the core.  If you love magic, we’re going to have a wonderful time!

Thursday is all about preparing you for greatness!  We start bright and early at 10AM and key students will be performing mini shows for the class.  One of the biggest roadblocks for performers is simply their lack of experience on stage, and it can create a limiting factor in making other decisions for your hypnosis business.  After lunch we will be discussing marketing, advertising, and how to book your first Stage Hypnosis show within a week of HTG LIVE!  It’s easier than you may be thinking!  You’ll be shocked, and motivated to crush your business and money making goals.  Those brave enough will be making prospecting calls on this day.  Expect some prizes, surprises and twist all week!  You’ll be delighted at what this event is going to do for your performing future.  Closing ceremonies and certifications at 5PM-6PM

BUT WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NLP AND HYPNOTHERAPY???

As an NLP Practitioner and Success Coach, it’s my job to motivate and inspire people to make positive changes in their life.  NLP isn’t necessary to conduct Hypnotherapy… and Hypnosis isn’t necessary for effective NLP Change-Work.

The main focus is that I can use my language and communication skills to initiate positive change in others.  And I do this using simple, yet POWERFUL NLP models and presentations.  Some of the models are complex, and some are so simple I could use a cocktail napkin and lipstick…  which consequently I’ve done before!  No matter what the case may be there is power in NLP.

Each and every time I help someone with NLP or Hypnosis, it strengthens
my own inner frame and ability to help others. This is the wonderful thing about being a hypnotist.

The journey is fantastic because we transform, in order to transform others!  And in turn, we receive the gift of transformation within ourselves every time we change a life!  I love sharing my weight-loss secrets with clients because they’ve worked for me.  I enjoy helping people quit smoking because I know what it’s like to go through the struggle.  I am in love with the product I’m selling, and as you may already know, believing in what you’re sharing is critical to lasting success as a Change Worker.

It feels wonderful.  And the pay ain’t so bad either!  Yes there is a big distinction here.  And I’m not talking about $250 to help someone quit smoking.  That’s where it starts. But not where it ends!

I’m not sure if you’ve taken your hypnosis to the next level, and if you’re using it to help other people quit addictions, feel amazing, and even lose weight and have more energy…  Or if you’ve even thought about transitioning into NLP and Change-Work.
